Sahara India Parivar, Sahara Refund Portal launched today: Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah inaugurated the “CRS-Sahara Refund Portal” in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Real claimants will receive their money: Amit Shah said, “The data of all four cooperative societies is online… This portal will assist 1.7 crore claimants in registering themselves… Real claimants will receive their money. The claims of these investors will be resolved… The money will be refunded to the bank accounts of claimants within 45 days,” said Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah at the launch of the Sahara Refund Portal.
Sahara Refund Portal 2023 Launch: How to make a claim? Claimants will have to submit all claims related to the four societies in a single claim application form. Only claims submitted through the portal will be considered. No charges are applicable for the submission of a claim.
Applicants will be notified via SMS/portal: Applicants will be informed via SMS/portal within 15 days, i.e., within 45 days from the date of online claim submission.
Claims will be verified within 30 days: Claims submitted within 30 days will be verified by Sahara Group of Co-operative Societies.
Aadhaar-linked mobile number and bank account are mandatory: Claimants must ensure that they have an Aadhaar-linked mobile number and bank account along with the necessary documents as proof of their claims and deposits.
To initiate the online application process on the Sahara Refund Portal, individuals have direct access to the official website of the Ministry of Cooperation, which can be reached at https://cooperation.gov.in.. The genuine investors of these societies can log in to this portal, fill out the available online application form, and submit their claims along with the required documents.

Sahara Refund Portal launch: On March 29, the government stated that the Sahara Group’s four cooperative societies would refund the investment of 10 crore investors within 9 months.
Investors can claim their deposited amount through the Sahara Refund Portal. The Sahara Refund Portal has been developed for the genuine claimants of Sahara Group’s cooperative societies, such as Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Limited, Sahara Yan Universal Multipurpose Society Limited, “The cooperative societies included in the initiative are Hamara Bharat Credit Cooperative Society Limited, and Stellar Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited.”

With the site in place, the procedure for getting their due compensation has been streamlined and made easier to access. Amit Shah, the union home minister, reiterated the government’s commitment to making sure that legitimate claimants quickly receive their money.
Investors must submit a single claim application form containing all of their claims linked to the four cooperative societies in order to make a claim on the Sahara Refund Portal. The portal-only claims are the only ones that will be processed further. The best aspect is that making a claim is free, making it simpler for investors to access the refund procedure.
